Finally the Wild Wonders of Europe story is published in the May 2010 issue of National Geographic Magazine. 69 photographers have been working in 46 countries through a period of 15 months.
Pål's image to the left has been given a double spread in the magazine. He and some of his outstanding photography is featured here.

We were able to get significantly better prices for the shuttle service from Windhoek to NamibRand and for the balloon flight! Please see the pdf-document.
Update May 8, 2010
I (Christian Goltz) just returned from NamibRand after catching beetles, mice and snakes for five days. This was an outing of the Namibian Environment & Wildlife Society (NEWS). Thus, I didn't really have time for photography. See below some of the images I managed to snap (with my digital compact). I also passed by the Wolwedans Dune Camp (where we will stay during our workshop) to check out progress of the current upgrading process and to discuss details. Conclusion: All is/will be perfect, really hope to see you there in November!
